We’ll dive into all the different influences that came together to create The Punisher - from The Godfather, to Death Wish, to Don Pendleton’s “The Executioner”! We’ll take you through his first-ever appearance in The Amazing Spider-Man, his history with Daredevil, and how the army-of-one action movies of the 1980’s led to a HUGE surge in popularity for Frank Castle, resulting in The Punisher having THREE monthly comic books at the same time!
